Researchers achieved a medical milestone by performing the world’s first robotic Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery on a pediatric patient. The procedure, done on 8-year-old Karleigh Fry with rapid-onset primary dystonia, resulted in immediate improvement in her motor functions.
