Does anyone have a suggestion for a great up to date neuroscience book on memory? I'm interested in a book that can explain LTP to a neuroscience undergraduate with a fairly good introduction to neuroscience in general. I'm trying to get a headstart on getting into a memory lab that does a lot of LTP experiments. I'm a junior neuroscience undergraduate.

I have a birthday coming up, so I'm going to ask mainly for neuroscience books from the family. I'm not looking for strictly neuroscience textbooks, as I can get those covered by my student loans. I'll be asking for other specific neuroscience books in other spots on this forum, so I hope this won't be frowned upon.

Any neuroscience book suggestions are appreciated.
