The migration did not go well and caused extensive downtime for the site. After numerous phone calls, tickets, emails and conversations with HostGator support personnel, the site seems to be stable. I’ve noticed the site down a few times since this post. Migrations can cause a few hiccups so they must be working things out still.

Thanks, @terrenceg. Yes, there were many problems after the migration as you predicted. The site has been up and down a lot as the hosting company tries to repair each step of the way. A few problems have sprung up relating to the server that have caused a lot of downtime, slow responses and refused emails. I believe the bugs have been taken care of, but I’m still combing through server settings and code to be sure.
